We are on a mission to get a Marathon High team at every public high school in Northeast Florida.

​

Our goal:

Marathon High has served over 1,800 teenagers and has completed seven seasons. Our goal is a team at every public high school in Northeast Florida. This is a free program for the schools and students, funded by community supporters and sponsors.

 

Season dates:

Marathon High is a four-month season from October through February.

 

School qualifications:

Must be a public high school in Northeast Florida (Nassau, Duval, Clay or St. Johns counties).

 

Coaches do not have to be experienced marathoners, but must be willing to train with the students and run with them on race day. Most importantly, they should be enthusiastic, outgoing, organized, and committed to making this a life-changing experience for the students. We look for strong leaders and excellence with our teams.
