Amanda Crawford
Marathon High is proud to welcome Amanda Crawford as our new Executive Director. Amanda steps into this role with a lifelong passion for youth development, community engagement, and—at the heart of it all—running.
Her love for running began in high school, where being part of a team taught her the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. It was during those formative years that Amanda discovered a deep sense of confidence and connection—building lifelong friendships and learning lessons that continue to guide her personally and professionally.

Amanda brings both personal passion and professional experience to her leadership. Amanda brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit management, public service, and community outreach. In previous roles, she has led initiatives that brought people together, elevated youth programs, and created opportunities for collaboration across sectors. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, strategy, and a shared vision of helping teens realize their potential—one mile at a time.

When she’s not leading the charge for Marathon High, Amanda is celebrating 25 years of marriage and enjoying life as a proud mom to two—one a college sophomore and the other a high school sophomore. She’s also channeling her love for animals and community impact into co-founding 904 Purr and Pour Lounge. This new Jacksonville gathering space pairs a welcoming atmosphere with a mission to support local cat adoptions.
