Meet Our Executive Director
Amanda Crawford serves as Executive Director of Marathon High, bringing together a lifelong passion for running, youth development, and community engagement. She is dedicated to ensuring every student has the opportunity to discover their potential through the life-changing experience of Marathon High.
Amanda's love for running began in high school, where being part of a team taught her the value of discipline, perseverance, and community. Those experiences shaped her confidence, created lifelong friendships, and sparked a passion for helping young people discover what they're capable of achieving.
Today, Amanda combines that personal passion with years of experience in nonprofit leadership, public service, and community engagement. She is committed to ensuring every Marathon High student has the encouragement, mentorship, and opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits through running.
Outside of Marathon High, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years and their two children. She is also passionate about animal welfare and community service, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping both people and animals thrive.
Amanda is honored to lead Marathon High into its next chapter—empowering more Northeast Florida teens to discover that they are capable of extraordinary things, one mile at a time.
